Nuneaton Bahais

Bahai Meditation is based on Baha’i philosophy of spiritual development leading to insight into the true nature of life. Bahais practices means of changing oneself through prayers and meditation in order to develop the qualities of awareness, kindness, and wisdom.

The meditation programme is simple, natural, effortless and requires no more than sitting comfortably with the eyes closed.

The purpose of Bahai Meditation is to create a state of contentment in one’s life. Contentment brings about tranquillity and peace.

“There is nothing sweeter in the world of existence than prayer. We must live in a state of prayer. The most blessed condition is the condition of prayer and supplication. Prayer is conversation with God. The greatest attainment or the sweetest state is none other than conversation with God. It creates spirituality, creates mindfulness and celestial feelings, begets new attractions of the kingdom and engenders the susceptibilities of the higher intelligence.”
